we all have quite a few numbers of sarees sitting at our wardrobes from ages. Though they are in good shape, we are not interested to wear them again due to some of the reasons such as old designs, color or out of fashion or you might have worn it by a number of times. Wearing the saree with same old matching tried and tested standard color blouses gets boring after some time.
Don't worry ladies, Its time to know some tips and tricks on How to revive those old sarees and bring the designer look without running them under the scissors meaning, without cutting the saree you can wear them to bring them back to fashion by simple modifications to them.

1. Play with Blouse work
Try differently with Blouse works that match with your sarees. Go with Monochrome blouse with Maggam or thread work or chikan work, Monochromes with back neck designs with back tussles and high light the necks to grab the attraction from saree to blouse.

Yes, you heard it right. Mix and Match with sarees, not with the blouse. Mixing saree pallu with another saree/Dupatta is an option and Dual saree also another worth trying option. Dual saree draping became a trend in celebrity style or grandeur wedding. Playing with the blouse sleeves is the simplest way to bring Designer saree look to your saree. Yes, Blouse sleeves definitely define your saree look. Try different sleeves such as Ruffled sleeves, Bell sleeves, cold shoulders, full sleeves, 3/4th sleeves, and off shoulders, capes and see the magic. 10. Add lace to your saree
Adding a Lace to saree is another way to bring a designer look to your old saree. The color, the Pattern and the way you add the lace to saree make a lot of difference. Adding Lace as the border to saree or Adding Net fabric or lace at the frills are quite easy but old fashion. Try to add Big lace in 'U or 'V' shape at the front chest part and at the pallu with criss-cross style or at one corner of saree brings a new look to saree. Try to use contrast-colored lace on top of the saree without cutting the saree underneath the saree, It helps to give a dual shade to the pattern. whereas, Use the monochrome lace to the saree by removing the underneath saree fabric. But the tricky part is how to select the lehenga and saree combination. Select a heavy embroidery lehenga for plain Net saree and Plain contrast Can Can Lehenga under work Sheer Saree. The color or the work of the lehenga should be highlighted underneath the saree so that it brings up the new look your saree automatically.
