7 Tips for Healthy Life

I would like to talk about a few tips to enjoy your life to the fullest.
As per the World Health Organization, India is a standout amongst the most discouraged nations on the planet. While around 9% of individuals in the nation say they have encountered expanded times of wretchedness in any event once, inside their lifetime, about 36% have experienced Major Depressive Episodes (MDE). You can really help yourself out of depression by making some simple lifestyle changes. Make your life better by using these tips. You’ll definitely feel much better for it.

 1. Never Stop A Medication
Never stop a medication on your own. Many people will start a new medication when they are feeling down then immediately stop taking it when they are feeling better.  It works one or twice but if you make it as a practice it can actually cause you to feel even worse than you did initially. Few of us who are suffering with long run diseases like thyroid, PCODs or diabetes or etc.. don’t take your own decisions to start or stop the medication. Always consult a doctor before stopping or starting, take 2ndopinion if needed.  Regular health checkups, once in a year also benefits us a lot to diagnose any disease upfront. Now a days most of  IT companies, Government or private sectors providing Employee Health Checkup  facility. Though they are not providing, get it done on yourself. After all its all about our health.

 2. Burn your Xtra calories
Be active and make Exercise/Yoga as a daily routine. Many of us having our own excuses in our day to day challenges. But practicing simple Meditation or Yogasanas at home like Pranayama and body stretch out for 5 minutess a day will bring lot of change in our life. A few minutes of practice per day can help us to relax your muscles and nerves to get relief from stress mentally and physically.
A great tip that can help you fight Extra calories is to replace your beverages like coffee or tea with hot water in the morning. Giving a flavor of lemon or Herbs to it is a best add-on. Replace cool drinks with lime soda or fruit juices during parties or team lunches.
3. Go Out with Friends
A great tip that can help you fight depression/stress is to not spend so much time indoors. When we’re depressed, we try to think more and more on the same thing and knowingly or unknowingly we spread the same environment at home. The additional time you spend without anyone else inside, the more you will be discouraged. Plan a small trip with family or friend, At least go to window shopping (Shopping is a best  medicine for stress) or go meet your friends and spend some valuable time to get relief from your stress. Doesn’t mean you spend that time discussing the ‘gone wrong’ things again and again, It is of no use. After all you are going out to CHEER UP !!!
4. Love Your Bed
A great tip that can help you battle stress is to make sure you’re getting enough sleep every day. It’s important that we get enough sleep because it helps our bodies function. If we don’t get enough sleep, we can get tired and that can lead to feeling depressed. Also, try to keep away from your phone or televisions at least 30 minutes before you go to bed. Now a days most of us spending time on smart phones till we go to bed by keeping phones under their pillows. That gives lot of affect on our brains due the radiations released from these smart phones. So, maintain minimum 2-3 feet distance with your phone during sleep.
5. The Battle Against Negative Thoughts
‘Love yourself’. Negative thoughts lead to unhealthy lifestyle. Take 5 minutes of your day and focus only on your thoughts and your reaction to the events and better keep them on paper, that help us to battle against our Negative thoughts.  If you find yourself thinking harsh thoughts about your personality or actions, take a moment to stop and think about something you like about yourself.Try to re-think these thoughts more constructively or realistic by using statements with suggestions on how you can solve the issues. Try to be positive and accept the things that you can’t change.
6. Keep a Stress buster
We really work the longest hours in India, meaning we often don’t spend enough time doing things we really enjoy.  Rediscover your passion whether it could be outdoor or indoor or painting, or making crafts or watching your favorite cartoon shows or playing music if you can etc… and give a restart. Always carry a stress buster gadget with you either it could be smiley ball or your favorite book or any music player or download a brain teaser game like word puzzles or Sudoku and spend only 5-10 minutes on it. but don’t get addicted it.
7. Have Healthy Food
Prevention is better than Cure. So, ensure that you are taking enough Water and Vitamin B in your diet if you are experiencing depression/stress. Having a deficiency of Vitamin B can cause depression symptoms to act up. Foods like leafy greens, beans, eggs, and chicken have Vitamin B. Also, there are supplements that you can take that contain this vitamin.  As per WHO, one out of three women suffering with joint pains in their early stage. So, start taking Vitamin D supplements if you already 30+. Try to avoid out side food and  stick to home food as much as possible . Go for Organic.
