An Indian bride in Haldi (Turmeric) ceremony
Every girl is a princess for her parents and she will turn to be a queen of his man from the day of her wedding. Haldi holds a special place of honor in any Indian traditional wedding right beginning from the bridal shower and Mehendi is to adorns the bride’s hand to enhance her beauty. Look at this adorable and gorgeous bride on her Mehendi function with Haldi on her face and floral crown on head gear just like a princess, made the frame so colorful and breathtaking.
During Haldi ceremony, the venue is decorated with special yellow and marigold flowers, banana leaves and Mango leaves, those indicate the starting of an auspicious event in any Indian hindu tradition. The Bride is dressed up in tradition wear and floral jewelry became the latest trend in every haldi ceremony. Starting from the Hair accessory, earrings, bracelet, necklaces to anklets all made up of real or lightweight artificial flowers.
Special Mixture made up of turmeric, milk, essential oil and Besan is applied by all the relatives and guests on Bride’s face and body as well to bring up the extra glow on to her face and massage her hair with aromatic oils, Also they sing some traditional melody songs. The guests also play themselves with the Haldi, that’s the biggest fun event in that ceremony. After that, they give a bridal bath to the bride with milk, rose petals and water.
Finally, the bride is dressed up in her wedding outfit and takes blessing from their family and friends.
