Fenugreek/Methi Leaves Curry Recipe in Indian Style
Today's delicious dish is Fenugreek Leaf Curry which is made up of fenugreek seeds popularly known as Methi leaves in South Asian Countries. These mild tasted Leaves are used for seasoning in western countries.

Many Dishes are prepared with fenugreek leaves in Indian countries due to much impressive health benefits for varies diseases. you can even add this herb to other dishes to bring your flavor to a whole new level. I am going to describe the health benefits down in this post.
Fenugreek is an annual herb with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor often described as a cross between celery and maple. Too Much of raw Fenugreek leaves tastes bitter. So, today I came up with an Indian recipe which tastes delicious without losing its nutrition values.

Ingredients
- Fenugreek/Methi Leaves - 2 cups
- Chopped Onions - 2 cups
- Green Chillies- 2
- Tomato (Big Size) -1
- Garlic Cloves -4
- Red Chillies -2
- Mustard Seeds -1/2 Tsp
- Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
- Chana Dal- 1 Tsp
- Oil - 4 Tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Red chili powder/ paprika - 1 Tsp
- Salt - 1 Tsp

Preparation Method
- Wash Methi leaves and drains out the water. Cut down the stems. you can keep the stems if they are tender. I used the stems as it is since I collected them directly from my balcony garden. It is organic and no mess out of chopping it. It is easy to grow with less soil if get enough sunlight.
- Add Oil to the hot pan
- Add broken Red chilies, Garlic cloves and let them crack
- Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal and broken Urad dal for tampering.
- you can even add fenugreek 5-10 seeds as well for more health benefits, it is optional
- Add green chilies and Onions to it. Saute it till the onions become soft.
- Add a pinch of turmeric
- Add fenugreek leaves to it
- Add salt and Red chilly powder as per your taste.
- Close the lid and let it cook for 2 mins
- Add chopped tomatoes to it, Stir it and wait till tomatoes become soft.
- you can add Garam Masala if you want
- Stop the stove
- Garnish with coriander or carrot.
- Serve it hot with Rice or Roti
